Capacity in 2.56 kWh steps, so the stack is sized to your evening load rather than rounded up. Towers run from 5.1 to 25.6 kWh on a floor base with a BMS controller on top.

Usually yes. Your existing inverter has to be hybrid or battery-ready, or a separate battery inverter has to be added alongside it. Send us a photo of the inverter’s label and we will tell you which of these five it can take — and whether replacing the inverter is the cheaper path.
Size it to your evening and overnight consumption, not your daily total — the middle of the day is covered by the panels. For most Perth households that lands between 10 and 15 kWh usable. Ducted air conditioning, a pool pump or an EV pushes it higher.
Only if it is wired for it. Backup needs either a dedicated essential-loads circuit or a system with an internal bypass — the GoodWe ESA carries the whole house through its 63A bypass, and Fronius does it with a Backup Controller. Whole-home backup also has to respect what the battery can deliver at once, so we work out which circuits matter before quoting.
The federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program discounts installed storage through STCs, capped at the first 50 kWh of usable capacity. We apply the rebate as an up-front discount on your quote rather than asking you to claim it back. Ask us for current WA figures — the rate steps down each year.
LiFePO4 is cobalt-free, thermally stable and long-cycling — the right chemistry for a box bolted to the side of a house in a Perth summer. It is now the standard across every major residential brand, and we do not quote anything else for home storage.
All five are modular. Sigenergy and GoodWe go further than the rest: both let you add modules of a different capacity or age to an existing stack, so a top-up in 2030 is not held back by the modules installed today. Growatt’s 2.56 kWh steps make it the easiest to fine-tune.
We do. You call us, we lodge the claim with the manufacturer and we carry out the swap. Our own 10-year workmanship warranty sits on top of the product warranty, and every brand here has Australian warranty support — a condition of being on this page.
